Spotlighting Europe’s crisis reserve

Crafting the rescEU story with interactive scrollytelling

In 2019, the EU established rescEU, a common crisis reserve to guarantee a more effective response to disasters.

In 2024 and 2025, I worked with a team of creatives, web designers, web developers and copywriters to create an anniversary interactive website.

The client brief was to introduce rescEU’s work and achievement in an engaging format. Our team had to figure out a format that could work with Drupal, the Europa website CMS and still allow interactive features.

We used a mix of images, videos, graphics and copy to tell the story and highlight some of rescEU’s work in Ukraine, Türkiye, and on wildfires.

My work focused on drafting and updating the copy, and sourcing, and developing new graphics with our team’s designers.
